Kayaks at Inverness
I don't think I have ever experienced an evening so calm, so still. Not a ripple. Lori and I had paddled out of the protected harbour of Inverness Nova Scotia. When we came back, the light was great and the reflection was perfect. This image was used as a cover for a grade 9 textbook a few years ago. I received an email from a student in Nova Scotia. He had a question. "Is this image manipulated?" He said half his class thought it was and half the class thought it was untouched. He wanted me to let him know, as it was becoming quite a heated argument. The image was shot on film and this is exactly what the original looked like straight out of the camera.
