Lori and I were working with a few of my students at Hilton Falls - a Niagara Escarpment waterfall. The falls were frozen over. I found the patterns of ice at the edge of the fast flowing water more interesting. Sometimes the best photo subjects aren't the obvious choices. You just have to slow down and look.
