Lori saw a sign with a puffin on it as we drove around the Bonavista Peninsula on Newfoundland. We went into an information booth and asked where we should go to see some. With directions in hand they sent us to Elliston. The birds nest on an island very close to the mainland there. Every now and then one would land close to us as this one did.
