Piping Plover, Grand Beach Provincial Park, Manitoba. Over the years Lori and I have spent many days photographing these endangered birds. Grand beach is the most accessible place we have found. To get eye level, I lowered the tripod to the ground, lay down and waited for the plover to walk past me.
