In late winter, thousands of winter ducks congregate on the north shore of the Great Lakes. This Male Bufflehead was photographed in Bluffers Park in Scarborough. It's a quiet place in February to go and shoot. Since it's so close to home, I will often head down there to practice or play with new gear before a big trip.
