Along the Waterfalls Route in the Northwest Territories we camped at the Twin Falls Gorge Territorial Park where we would photograph both Alexandra Falls and Louise Falls on the Hay River. At Alexandra Falls I would even pose on rocks overlooking the edge of the 32 m/105 ft high waterfalls. I am actually much closer to the water's edge than this image shows - just a few feet away. And the rocks sloped towards the falls! But Ron really scared me by shooting right from the cliff's extreme edge - probably while standing on a hanging ledge. Of course he would do that regardless of anything I said. Or could he really not hear me over the waterfall's thunderous roar?
